Reduce your carbon footprint instantly by carpooling whenever you can. One less car means a lot less carbon emission into the atmosphere!
- USE PUBLIC TRANSPORT
This is a better option – use public transport! If your traveling distance doesn’t require driving your own vehicle, then hop on a bus or ride the train instead.
- REDUCE YOUR ENERGY CONSUMPTION – TURN OFF THAT SWITCH!
This is a simple practice that can go a long way! Remember to turn off the electricity when leaving a room, or heading out for a break.
- ADOPT A TREE
Plant more trees, go green!
- CARRY A CLOTH BAG, SAY NO TO PLASTIC BAGS
Its cool to carry cloth bags! They are fashionable, and environmentally friendly too. Try to avoid the use of plastic bags as much as possible.
- SHOP WISELY
When doing your groceries, try to buy products that are wrapped in biodegradable/ recyclable material such as cardboard, paper and glass.
- THING 4R’S – RETHINK, REUSE, REDUCE AND RECYCLE
Before throwing something out that door, think with the 4R’s. Save that bit from ending up in the landfills!
- TURN THAT WASTE INTO ART!
More often than not, things that we throw out can be reused. A better idea would be to turn them into something cool and funky – art!
