Bridgestone’s One Tyre One Good Deed Campaign enhances rehabilitation activities in Raja Musa FR
During the FI Malaysia Championship held in March 2010, Bridgestone Malaysia organized a a series of charity drives that were part of Bridgestone's ‘Make Cars Green’ initiatives to help raise public awareness about green motoring and rally support for environmental projects. The campaign successfully raised RM110,820 which was then donated to the Global Environment Centre (GEC) to support its environmental conservation projects and activities. The funds supported tree planting activities at Raja Musa FR, Selangor, Kuala Gula, Perak and Sg. Nenggiri, Kelantan. In total, about 5,000 tree seedlings were planted involving 400 people representing the local communities, students and volunteers.
With the launching of new eco-friendly tyre – Ecopia EP100A, Bridgestone Tyre Sales Malaysia Sdn Bhd strengthens its commitment to the environment through “One Tyre One Good Deed” Campaign in which 1 ringgit will be contributed towards rehabilitation activities in Raja Musa FR for every tyre being sold.

The rehabilitation activities funded by Bridgestone include restoring hydrological regime of Raja Musa FR and replanting of the area to create forest cover and reduce fire risk.
